Christmas Update

Our first Christmas with Olivia was great!

The original plan was to keep it low-key, with just a few presents, since she was young and wouldn't remember it anyway. Well, four dolls, about 20 books, 4 stuffed animals, 5 teething rings...etc.... plus stuff from friends and relatives later...it ended up not being as "low-key" as we planned. Needless to say, Olivia got a ton of stuff.

We went to church on Christmas Eve, had dinner at Grandma's, and went to look at Christmas lights. Christmas Day we opened presents, watched the Disney parade (of course!), and had dinner at Grandma's.

We were definitely blessed to have her as a part of our family for Christmas this year. Christmases will never be the same again! Here are some highlights!

Olivia with her Starbucks Bearista - she's so surprised!

Olivia with her new teething Bunny - she loves this thing!

Her new doll, Stella... STELLA!!! :-)

Chillin' with most of her new presents...opening them was so exhausting!

Olivia and Leo were keeping tabs on each other during their afternoon naps...

Olivia is wearing her "My First Christmas" outfit...the same one that is in her picture with Santa!

Olivia's Christmas Eve outfit...she looks thrilled, doesn't she?

First picture with Santa! Isn't he a great Santa?!

First Post of the New Year

We decided that creating a blog just for Olivia would be a great way to keep everyone up-to-date about everything that is going on. She is 3 1/2 months old now, and weighs a little over 14 lbs. She is a very happy baby and loves to smile, squeal, and now giggle! We will try and update this blog and add photos as often as possible. Feel free to harass us if we let it go too long without an update!

This photo (my current favorite) was taken on December 22, 2007, just outside the Grand Floridian Hotel at Disney. Yes, she has already been over to Disney...three times!!

The first time, we stayed at the Boardwalk the weekend of our wedding anniversary. The second time, we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for Nonny's 60th birthday. The third time was just a day trip for shopping at Downtown Disney and to see some of the Christmas decorations at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary.

During this trip, Olivia rode the monorail for the first time, though she slept right through it.

The fourth Disney trip is already planned for the second weekend in February. This time we'll be staying at the Saratoga Springs with Grandma, Aunt Tanya, Uncle John, and Olivia's cousins, Jonathan and Sarah. We can't wait!
